DALLAS, Texas, April 9, 2018 – Playbook Investors Network (PIN) today announced Dawnn Lewis, GRAMMY, BMI, NAACP Image Award Winning Actor, Composer-Singer, Producer, A New Day Foundation, CEO and Morning Jewel Inc, CEO, as a PIN brand ambassador. Lewis will participate in a series of marketing and fundraising initiatives including social media and brand awareness events for PIN. With this alignment, PIN will also assist Lewis with efforts to expose and gain support for her nonprofit, A New Day Foundation, whose mission is to provide financial and programmatic support toward the empowerment and education of underserved youth; provide capacity building pro bono services to assist small/grassroots nonprofits; and to provide general support services in underserved communities.
“The PIN Family and I are excited about working with Dawnn because we share the same principles, mission, and vision when it comes to helping underserved communities, says CEO, Rodney Woods. “At PIN, we’re used to working with these markets and communities in various capacities. Whether it’s our product, service or the people that represent our brand, we desire to work with the best of the best, and we see that with Dawnn. She has a passion for what she does, and we support that one-hundred percent.”
“I’ve known Rodney Woods for close to 25 years, and he has been an advocate for setting the table for success, as you transition from one career to the next. When far too many professional athletes or entertainers find themselves at a loss...as to how to navigate their lives and career opportunities when their ‘playing days’ are over, Rodney and PIN continue to create pathways for financial and entrepreneurial stability. PIN’s demand for excellence in its business practices, knowledgeable staff and ‘outside-the-box’ thinking make partnering with them a ‘win – win’ scenario for all involved. I’m proud to call Rodney Woods & PIN my Friend and now Partners,” says Lewis.
On May 26, 2018, A New Day Foundation will launch Focused N F.I.T. For A Different World on the University of Southern California’s Campus. This program is geared toward Low and Moderate Income (LMI) underserved college (Freshman & Sophomore) and college-bound high school (Junior & Senior) students. Focused N F.I.T. is designed to engage, inform and empower these students by educating them on how to afford entering and completing college; develop responsible and profitable economic habits; and maximize their college education and entrepreneurial pursuits by helping them utilize technology to access the world market.
